Research of the IC postgraduate was highly appreciated at the 6th Russian National MultiConference on control problems

From 30 September to 5 October 2013 The Russian National MultiConference on control problems was held in Gelendzhik. The conference was supported by the Ministry of education and science, the Russian Academy of Science and the Russian Foundation for Basic Research. Over 200 works were presented at the conference by students, postgraduates, young and well-know scientists from Russian leading institutions and institutes of Academy of Science.

The objective of the conference was to discuss new results of fundamental and applied studies in the sphere of control processes and their practical application. The subject matter of the conference was connected with new approaches to control problems based on artificial intelligence principles, distributed and network-centric control, data processing, multi agent cooperation and etc. In addition, one of the main focus areas were best practices in application of new methods and approaches to complicated man-made object control problems, and rule-making for further use of this experience to modernize the economy of Russia, first of all in its venture areas.

Tomsk Polytechnic University was represented by Tatiana Ezangina, the IC first-year postgraduate. She participated in “Mechatronic systems control” section where the reports of leading specialists in the sphere of mechatronic systems development and control were presented.

Tatiana’s report “Synthesis of complicated dynamic systems with interval uncertain parameters” was devoted to research in the area of man-made object robust control which parameters are unknown or changed according to the a-priori unknown laws in the settled parameters. Under the guidance of her academic adviser Sergey A. Gayvoronsky she presented new ingenious methods for analysis and synthesis of robust controllers.

The practical utility of this research is the special purpose software developed in a high level programming language to design interval systems.

The report was highly appreciated by the conference hosts and marked by the diploma. The postgraduate received some recommendations to publish her research materials in “Automatics and teleautomatics”, a journal of the Russian Academy of Science.
