Our foreign faculty

The success of our university in research and teaching is built on the caliber of the staff we recruit.

Diego Karatelli, Italy

In the framework of the program for competitive growth of Tomsk Polytechnic University the Department of Computer-Aided Measurement Systems and Metrology of the Institute of Cybernetics invited Dr. Diego Karatelli, R&D director of the company «The Antenna Company Nederland B.V.». He got his Master's degree and PhD at Sapienza University of Rome, Italy, and worked for a long time in the International Center of telecommunications and radar of the Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands. Dr. Diego Karatelli publishes on the average 5-7 articles per year in the notated world-known journals with impact factor of 3-4, his h-index is 12.

Open sessions for the students and university staff to share his experience of publishing the scientific articles.

Public lecture on "The modified spherical Bessel functions as a new class of operator functions and their application to solve the problems of electrodynamics and mathematical physics."
