This week (from March 23 to March 27) 52 independent accreditation experts, the representatives of the HEIs from all over Russia have been working in the Institute of Cybernetics for the purpose of assessment of the quality of educational programs in the framework of the Federal Service for Supervision in Education and Science (Rosobrnadzor).

Accreditation expert evaluation is an important procedure in the life of the university. It is held every six years in order to confirm the compliance of the educational activities of the university with the federal state standards (FSS).

The experts shall review and evaluate the educational activities of the Institute of Cybernetics against the large number of criteria, including the content of curriculum of the integrated list of specialties, testing and questioning of the students and teachers of the Institute to assess the quality of education, as well as the content of the regulatory framework of the Institute. Moreover the experts will have the opportunity to visit the main high-tech centers and laboratories of the Institute of Cybernetics, in particular TPU Supercomputing cluster, Microsoft Innovation Center in TPU, Research and Training Center «Hughes-TPU" etc.

It is expected that the results of the Accreditation Commission will be announced on Friday, March 27.
