On January 28, in the framework of cooperation between TPU and the Korean company «Fastech», the Institute of Cybernetics organized and held IV Russian-Korean scientific and technical seminar "Mechatronics: devices and control", addressed to the exchange of knowledge between the parties. The Korean company «Fastech» is specialized in modern development systems and production of motion control systems. Institute of Cybernetics and «Fastech» have been partners for the past 10 years already!

TPU represented by the Institute of Cybernetics has had a long collaboration with the University Sungkyunkwan (South Korea) and plans to launch a program of academic exchange in "Mechatronics and Robotics" aimed at the training of qualified staff.

The President of the company «Fastech» Song D. made a note that Korea has experienced shortage of young professionals who would be interested in being involved exactly in the projects on mechatronics and robotics, thus he focused on the lack of human capacity and stressed that his company has been always ready to cooperate with the Department of integrated computer control systems of the Institute for Cybernetics in this direction.

After the seminar, some graduate students, who made presentations and reports at the seminar, were invited to visit South Korea as part of their research projects.
