During the period of April 27 to 30, 2015 Professor of the Computer Science and Engineering Department, University of New Brunswick, Canada, Gerhard Wilhelm Dueck, provides a course of lectures for the students of the Institute of Cybernetics. The lectures of the Professor are devoted to the following subjects «Reversible logic and its application in quantum computing» and «Java: Dynamic Memory Management» in the framework of such disciplines as "Electronics" and "English for Professional Purposes". So the students can thereby increase the level of their competence in two disciplines.
Last year the Professor worked with two students of the Institute of Cybernetics during the summer school, organized by the University of Applied Sciences Bonn-Rhein-Siege, St. Augustin, Germany. As a result there was developed the project and gained essential experience in applied topics and work with the international professors, among whom was Gerhard Dueck. Later the Institute of Cybernetics has initiated the cooperation with the Professor and now, in addition to the lectures, our Institute is ready to discuss the scientific cooperation programs between the Institute of Cybernetics and the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of New Brunswick.
