ИКСУ готовит команду для участия в «RoboCup Junior»

Институт кибернетики в составе команды из студентов младших курсов кафедры ИКСУ готовится к участию в Открытом Чемпионате России «RoboCup Junior», который пройдет с 22 по 24 марта 2016 г. в Томске. В данном соревновании будут представлены несколько регламентов – «футбол колесных роботов», «танцы», «лабиринт» и «роботы-спасатели». Соревнующиеся обязаны будут выбрать только одну секцию для демонстрации своих разработок и наши студенты пока определяются с выбором и вскоре начнут подготовку.

Открытый Чемпионат России «RoboCup Junior» является этапом, после которого победители, выполнившие ряд условий, могут представлять страну в мировом первенстве, который пройдет этим летом в Германии. К соревнованиям готовятся команды вузов города, а также школы, т.к. возрастных групп в каждом регламенте две – «до 14 лет» и «14-19 лет».

Организаторы планируют пригласить на «RoboCup Junior» представителей организационного комитета «RoboCup», которые смогли бы оценить масштабы проводимых мероприятий. На данный момент ведется активная работа на уровне администрации области по подаче заявки на право проведения мирового первенства «RoboCup»,составной частью которого является именно «RoboCup Junior».
