Olga G. Shchitova graduated from Tomsk State University, Philology Faculty.
PhD Thesis: “West-European Linguistic Borrowings in Russian Spoken Language of the 17th Century, scientific supervisor Prof. Vera V. Palagina (March 1986).
In 2008 she defended a Doctor’s dissertation “Comprehensive Analysis of Inorganic Vocabulary in Russian Spoken Language of the Middle Ob Area of the 17th Century”. The work was supervised by Olga I. Blinova, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor of the Department of Russian Language of Tomsk State University.
