Career trajectory In 2005 I graduated from the Kuzbass State Technical University with a degree in Engineering on specialty «Electric drive and automation of industrial installations and technological complexes» and began working in the same university as a laboratory assistant. From 2006 to 2012 I had sequentially held all positions from the teaching assistant to the head of the electric drive and automation department. Currently, perform the duties of the director of the Power Institute of KuzSTU. From 2014 I have been working in the National Research Tomsk Polytechnic University in the department of electric drive and equipment, as the associate professor in the beginning and as the professor at present.

Scientific career In 2005 I entered the graduate school. In 2007 I present my PhD thesis to the Dissertation Council at KuzSTU and in the same year my degree was approved by the State Commission for Academic Degrees and Titles. From 2012 I studied in the higher doctorate in KuzSTU till 2013 when I completed my doctorate thesis on the theme “Improving the energy and resource efficiency of mining machines by means of automated electric drives”. On September 24, 2014 I have successfully defended the thesis in the Dissertation Council at TPU. I have the academic rank of assistant professor. I have published 81 articles related with my research, including 25 articles in journals from the list of the State Commission for Academic Degrees and Titles, 4 articles in journals indexed in Scopus, 4 patents and 3 certificates to the computer program. In addition, I have participated in international conferences which held in China in 2008, in Kazakhstan in 2013 and in Bulgaria and Hungary in 2015. I have experience in research managing at the federal level, the most significant of such my project is taking part in the Federal Target Program "Research and scientific-pedagogical personnel of innovative Russia" and awarding the Russian President Grant. I also led the TPU project "Intelligent Mechatronic Systems" as part of the state assignments «Science». I am the scientific secretary of the Dissertation Council number D 121.102.01 at KuzSTU, as well as the workshop secretary of the PhD thesis preliminary examination on the specialty "Electrotechnical complexes and systems" this university.

Awards I was awarded the premium of the Kemerovo Region Governor for defending the PhD thesis in 2008 and for defending the DSc thesis in 2015. Also I have the diploma of the Kemerovo Region Administration College, which was awarded to me at 2012, and the medal "For Faith and Good" awarded in 2015.

Continuing education Repeatedly I took extension courses for teachers, including the psycho-pedagogical cycle training courses, the management training courses on energy-saving technologies in engineering education, as well as overseas training in Budapest, Hungary on the theme «Intelligent Mechatronic System and Robototechnical Complexes».
