Under the guidance of S.V. Pustynnikov students of PEI and foreign students won numerous TPU students’ academic competitions on TFE and general power engineering. Since 2007 S.V. Pustynnikov has been managing the research work of foreign students in the framework of “2+2” interuniversity program. His students regularly take part in scientific conferences held at TPU IIELT in Tomsk and at Jilin University in Changchun, China.
