Perminov, PhD Contact details: +7 3822 606 485, email: perminov@tpu.ru Learning Outcomes: Course Objectives and Content: The mathematical modeling methods for making design decisions for the purpose of modeling the devices, systems and methods for the protection of man and the environment from the dangers are studied. The discipline aims to prepare students for research and development and production and technological work in the professional field associated with the use of methods of mathematical modeling to predict the consequences of man-caused emergencies and assessing the sustainability of facilities, as well as the development of natural phenomena for the purpose of forecasting, modeling their effects and management; the use of scientific and technical information necessary for the construction of mathematical models of typical problems and the development of software tools for modeling processes emergencies, solving specific engineering problems related to mathematical modeling of processes in emergency situations. Course Outline: Section 1. Introduction. Basic conceptions and definitions Section 2. The method of system research Section 3. The modeling of systems Section 4.
