The discipline "Jurisprudence" refers to the variable part of the humanitarian, social and economic cycle of academic education (B3.B.3.5). It is directly connected to the disciplines of the basic part of the humanitarian, social and economic cycle of academic education (B1.B1 "History", B1.B2 "Philosophy") and relies on the knowledge and skills obtained during the study of these disciplines.
As a result of study of the discipline "Jurisprudence" a student acquires knowledge and skills that ensure the achievement of the goals of corresponded educational programs.

A student, who has studied this discipline, must know:

  • fundamental rights and duties of a person and citizen of the Russian Federation;
  • system of regulatory legal acts that compose Russian civil, family and labor legislation;
  • basis of Russian property law, law of obligations and law of succession;
  • basis of legal regulation of family relations in the Russian Federation;
  • basis of legal regulation of labor relations in the Russian Federation;
  • the main remedies for protection of infringed civil, family and labor rights.


  • The purposes of the discipline "Jurisprudence" can be achieved through:
    • attendance of lectures;
    • fulfillment of the test tasks;
    • case study.
