Annotation
Sensitive to the effects of energy flows materials are widely used in various areas of photonics. Scintillation materials for control systems and safety in medical imaging and inspection should provide an opportunity to obtain information at the minimum dose load in the shortest possible time. Understanding the processes of energy transfer between the centers of absorption and emission, revealing the influence of the substructure material, the presence of nano- and micro-inclusions in the efficiency of energy transfer will form approaches to the creation of new materials with given a property of photonics.

Main results of research are:

The threshold processes induced by high-current electron beams in the condensed environments are found and investigated: electric breakdown of dielectrics and semiconductors (ionic crystals, LED nanoheterostructures, alkaline and haloid crystals).
