My research focuses on literature of the end of the 19th - the beginning of the 20th centuries, with a particular emphasis on the works by F. Sologub. More recently, I have been working on the analysis of F. Sologub's translations from P. Verlaine's poetry. All my work aims to address the significance and complexity of translation process being regarded as a foundation of any cultural interaction.
My research interests are as follows: translation studies, comparative literature, history of Russian literature, aesthetic of reception, literary sociology, and semiotics.
