Born on June 18, 1943 in Komsomolsk of Khabarovsk area. In 1967 graduated from Physics and Technology faculty of Tomsk polytechnic institute and was appointed at the Electronic Engineers and Automatic Equipment of Physical Installations chair as an engineer to perform a research work.
From 1970 on 1973 has been a postgraduate student, successfully defending a Ph. D. thesis at 1975 of the following subject: "Industrial uranium-graphite nuclear reactor neutron noise spectrum research for the purpose of establishment of early diagnostics of the heat carrier boiling in nuclear reactor core".
In 1980 was appointed as the head of "Simulation modeling" laboratory at Applied mathematics chair of TPU and together with the staff of the laboratory performed the works on the Resolution of military industrial complex at Council of ministers of the USSR associated with the development of space power production thermal emission reactor-generators.
From 1988 to 1992 directed the "Applied problems of artificial intelligence" department at the Cybernetic center of Tomsk polytechnic institute which developed computer simulators using the artificial intelligence algorithms for VMUZ cadet training based on the USSR Navy ministry instructions.
At 1993 became an entrepreneur and was the director of the Research and production enterprise "Interface" until 1995. Established the production of jacquard products on the program-controlled Swiss machines.
In 1996 was chosen as the CEO of Tomsk linen corporation and remained at the position for six years.
In 1998 has been placed in the three-volume anniversary collection "The best businessmen of Russia since Peter I and up to now" as the director of enterprise listed in the 70 best small and medium businesses of Russia. Awarded with the anniversary sign "Ten years of business development in Russia".
In 2003 was invited to work in Tomsk polytechnic university as the associate professor of EAPP.
In 2003 was awarded with the Diploma of the ministry of the Higher and secondary education of the Russian Federation due to anniversary and fruitful work at TPU.
Now working as the top manager of E-Learning Institute. Acts as a scientific advisor for postgraduate students and as an associate professor of E-Learning Technology and Pedagogy Department is engaged in teaching activity. Married. Has two children and four grandsons.
Wife - Savinova Lyubov Nikolaevna, born in 1943.
Sons: Alexey, born in 1970, and Pavel, born in 1974.
Grandsons: Ruslan - 5 years old and Rodion - 2 months old. Granddaughters: Masha – 16 years old, Katya – 5 years old.
