Therefore, innovation tendencies in university education are as follows: 1 The development of multilevel system in many Russian universities. The advan-tage of such system is that it provides wider mobility for learning tempo and choice of future profession. It helps a graduate to study new professions on the basis of univer-sity education. 2 Providing universities with modern information technologies, extensive use of the Internet and intensive development of online study modes for students, creation of electronic textbooks, modules and curriculum on different educational platforms. 3 Universitization of higher education in Russia and integration of all higher edu-cation institutions with leading universities in the country and in the whole world, which leads to appearance of multiversities. 4 Transition of Russian higher education institutions to self-financing. 5 Including Russian universities into renovation of higher education according to world standards. That is why transition of Russian university to experimental appro-bation of new curricula, educational standards, new education technologies and man-agement structures is observed.
