From 2002 to 2005 Ekaterina V. Tsoi attended full-time postgraduate degree courses at Tomsk State University. In 2009 she defended a Candidate’s dissertation "Adverbial conversives in modern Russian language (a case study of denominative formations)", under the supervision of Galina I.Klimovskaya, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor of the Department of General linguistics, Tomsk State University.

She constantly participates in scientific events, including seminars and conferences. Moreover, Ekaterina V. Tsoi supervises the foreign students’ scientific and research work.
