Principles of intercultural communication theory

The discipline is aimed at the formation of ideas about the main problems of intercultural communication, thinking skills within the framework of "multiculturalism" as a positive attitude towards other cultures, recognition of cultural diversity of the modern world values. The discipline aims to develop students' cultural sensitivity, the ability to correct interpretation of the concrete manifestations of communicative behavior in various situations of intercultural contacts.

For the successful acquisition of the discipline a student must have a basic understanding of the language and cultural development, obtained in the course of studying of disciplines "Ancient languages ​​and cultures" and "Fundamentals of linguistics".

Practicum in oral communication

The discipline is aimed at the formation, development and improvement of specific competencies in the field of intercultural communication, familiarity with the basics of cross-cultural professional communication in different spheres. The discipline focuses on the development of cultural sensitivity, the ability to correct interpretation of the concrete manifestations of communicative behavior in various situations of intercultural contacts.

For the successful acquisition of the discipline a student must have an understanding of the problems of intercultural communication, have the skills of thinking within the framework of "multiculturalism" as a positive attitude towards other cultures, formed in the course "Fundamentals of intercultural communication theory".
