The syllabus on «Professional training in English» is designed at the Department of High Mathematics and Mathematical Physics, Tomsk Polytechnic University. The syllabus is intended for 4th-year Applied Mathematics and Informatics students. The goal is to form and improve transferable skills and entrepreneurship for professional engineers able to work in a changing global community. The syllabus contains goals, objectives, methods and approaches for teaching Specialist English, classroom and self-study activities, assessment scheme and credit test requirements.
