About the course "Physical Chemistry" Physical chemistry is the science about laws of chemical processes and chemical phenomena. Its concepts are used to explain and interpret observation on the physical and chemical properties of matter. It explains the phenomena based on physical foundations and tends to quantitative description of chemical processes. Objects of physical chemistry are any systems inside which chemical transformations can occur. Physical chemistry studies changes in these systems which are accompanied by transformation of the chemical energy into various physical forms of energy (e.g., heat, electricity, radiation, etc.). Thus, physical chemistry doesn’t study separate chemical processes but correlates them with physical phenomena.
