Investigations of the impact of concentrated energy on to the structure and properties of materials. She develops methods of creating of hardened surface layers of structural steels by surface plastic deformation. The ultrasonic machine for smoothing the surface of the part by special tool oscillating with ultrasonic frequency is used. Peculiarities of formation of the surface layer of hardened steel, obtained by combined methods of treatmen are investigated. Combined methods include ultrasonic surface treatment, chemical and heat treatment and thermal coatings. Now researches the Ti-Nb system alloys, used for the production of biomaterials.
