Elena Ivashkina was born in 1983.
In 2005 she graduated with honors from Tomsk Polytechnic University, qualified as an engineer in specialty "Chemical Technology of Natural Energy and Carbon Materials" and continued her studies at postgraduate school at the Department of Chemical Technology of Fuel and Chemical Cybernetics, specialty 05.17.08 - "Chemical Engineering Processes and Devices"
In early 2007, she prepared and defended her thesis "Modeling of N-mono-olefins Obtaining by Dehydrogenation of Higher C9-C14 Paraffins" in Dissertation Council D 212.269.08.
In 2012, she defended her doctoral dissertation "Development and Application of Modeling Systems of Multistage Petrochemical Processes in Industrial Reactors" in Dissertation Council D 212.269.08, specialty 05.17.08 - "Chemical Engineering Processes and Devices".
Currently Elena Ivashkina works at the Department of Chemical Technology of Fuel and Chemical Cybernetics, Institute of Natural Resources, National Research Tomsk Polytechnic University as a senior researcher and professor (part-time).
She reads lectures "Innovative Development of Chemical Technology of Organic Substances", "Oil and Gas", "Chemical Technology of Fuel and Carbon Materials".
