His research interests include the development of spark gaps and pulse power generators for electro-explosive technologies. He is currently developing a 0.3-0.5 MeV repetitive high-current electron accelerators for industrial applications. In 2015, he defended PhD thesis in Russia entitled "Development of a repetitive pulsed electron accelerator, utilizing the time delay in electron current emission for an electron diode". His current research is related to issues of lifetime increasing of field-emission cathodes and vacuum electron diodes for ejection of pulsed electron beams into the atmosphere.
