Level of education: Master's programme Number of credits: 3 Time resources: 8 hours lectures and 24 hours practices, 76 hours of self-study work The aim of course: students should learn how to identify risks, assess their level and make desicions to protect humans and the environment. As a result of course’s studying the following competencies must be developed: knowledge of hazards' identification methods, risk assessment and risk management; ability to analyze and evaluate the impacts on the environment and habitat; skills of analysis and evaluation the potential danger for humans and the environment.
