The aim of course: the formation of students' ecocentric environmental outlook; the formation of the ability to use the environmental laws for making design decisions in professional activities; the formation of the social responsibility in the professional activity.
As a result of course’s studying the following competencies must be developed: the ability to apply knowledge of the living systems' functioning laws to solve the problems in professional activities; the readiness to control the compliance with environmental safety in the workplace; the ability to develop and implement the ecology safety activities in the professional activity.
Course outline: 1. Introduction to ecology. 2. General ecology. 3. Human ecology. 4. Rational nature management. 5. Engeneering ecology. 6. Law and economic issues of environmental protection.
