I am associate professor of the Department of Culture Studies and Social Communication at National Research Tomsk Polytechnic University. I studied Culture Studies and Philosophy at National Research Tomsk State University. I earned PhD in philosophy in 2009. My PhD was on “Mythological basses of postmodern culture”. I have a strong background in cognitive science, philosophy of mind, ontology, philosophy of modern science. I have developed new methods for understanding the myth essence and its influence on non-classical science, postmodern philosophy and contemporary arts. I am currently working on a range of issues, including the nature of mythological thinking and objectivity, interconnection between reality and myth. Nowadays I am interested in intercultural communication, social innovation responsibility and applied ethics. I also have versatile experience in teaching and developing difference courses in culture studies, intercultural communication, advertising, tourism management and marketing, business ethics.
