The fifth All-Russian Competition-Show «A look into the future» 2017

In Tomsk, April 24 - 28, 2017

The Department of Engineering Graphics and Industrial Design of Institute of Cybernetics of Tomsk Polytechnic University with the support of the Department of Youth Policy of the Tomsk Region Administration and Tomsk regional branch of the "Association of Designers of Russia" invites students of universities and colleges, pupils of children's art schools, teenager art groups, young, ambitious designers, architects, and artists to take part in the exhibition-contest of the following categories:

Coursework Areas in Contention:

·         Industrial design

·         Clothing design

·         Graphic design

·         Design of Architectural Environment

Creative Works Areas in Contention:

·         Drawing and various kinds of graphics arts

·         Painting

·         2D Art и 3D Art

·         3D Scientific modelling (drawing, graphics, computer technologies)

·         Animation

THE STATEMENT

Objectives:

·         Cultural exchange among the participants of the exhibition

·         Skill enhancement among students, designers, architects and artists

·         Motivate creative confidence for pupils and starting designers through social interaction and discussion of works

·         Professional orientation for pupils

·         Expose Tomsk citizens to the creativity of young, ambitious artists, designers, and forward-thinkers alike

·         Pupil of arts schools: Group #1

·         Students of universities, institutes, colleges: Group #2 

·         Young designers, architectures, artists ( painters ) : Group #3 

We will choose the FINAL winner among the works who will get the Grand Prize.

Winners' works will be located on the site of the Competition-Show. All participants will get certificates as a courtesy and gratuity for sharing their excellent work.

CONDITIONS OF THE COMPETITION-SHOW:

We will accept e-copies works made within the last three years

We will accept e-applications and digital copies of participant's work until the April 7th, 2017. Please send all work to our e-mail address for the Competition-Show (future@tpu.ru). Please provide in the SUBJECT FIELD the SHORT NAME of your EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION from where the work was sent.

THE REQUIREMENTS FOR DIGITAL COPIES

You have to locate the digital copies of your coursework on the paper A2 size ( 420 mm x 594 mm ) or paper A3 size ( 297 mm x 420 mm ) and saved without loss ( JPEG-LS, TIFF, GIF PNG ) CMYK with a resolution no less than 300 dpi Exposure sheet has to keep the main idea of your work. All projects that participate in the competition of coursework must have the following: name of the work, the main plans, schemes and visual images. File’s name includes: age group, authors name and file format. Ex.: 01_SURNAME.jpg.

You must submit an application for each additional work you would like to be in the show (see App #1 ) Applications must contain:

·         Age group and nomination

·         Name of the educational institution (school, institute, faculty, group, course)

·         Name and the year work made

·         Author’s full name

·         The head ( name, position, degree, place of work )

·         Phone for communication, e-mail author and the head

·         Short description, conception the work. No more than 1500 characters

The file should looks like : age group, name and file’s format Ex.: 01_SURNAME. docx.

We will print all works and reserve the right to separate them to the exhibition.

CONCLUSION

·        The participation in this Competition-Show is free of charge

·        Participation in the Competition-Show implies that you agree with all rules, regulations, and stipulations set forth in this agreement

·        We reserve all rights for the authors of the works but we also exercise our right to use these works to promote our Competition-Show.
