Materials such as low-density polyethylene (LDPE), high-density polyethylene (HDPE), polyamide (PA) and polycarbonate (PC) are used for the manufacturing of large-size products by the quasi-isothermal method. Processing thermoplastic materials by the quasi-isothermal method allows semi-finished and completed products of different forms and dimensions to be manufactured. Maximum dimensions of products are related with dimensions of vacuum ovens: 3 m in diameter and 1.7 m in height.

Thermoplastic materials used for the manufacture of our products are produced by both Russian and foreign chemical companies. These materials possess good dielectric and mechanical properties. The range of operating temperature for LDPE and PC products is 40+70°C and 100+135°C respectively.

Producing large-size semi-finished and completed products by using our know-how allows us to reduce manufacture expenses. It is conditioned by the mold simplicity as the production process excludes overpressure. Besides, service expenses and machining expenses are also reduced for completed and semi-finished products respectively. Technological molds are made of metal sheets with thickness 23 mm.

Good chemical proofness of LDPE allows large-size seamless tanks for the saving and technological application of aggressive liquids (acids and alkalis) to be produced by the quasi-isothermal method. These tanks are widely used in the galvanic and electrolytic technological lines. Absence of weld seams in these tanks allows the service life to be increased.

Products of various forms can be easy produced by machining from our semi-finished products. For example, a base-board for the paper-knife of paper-cutting machines, so-called marzanes, are produced in our Laboratory for all types of paper-cutting machines.

Producing products by the injection moulding method under low pressure is used for the manufacture of small lots of products. Reducing pressure allows us both to decrease dimensions of technological mold and to reduce manufacturing expenses. For example, we are producing 30004000 pieces per year of plafonds (protection lenses) for traffic lights made of PC. Volume of injection molding products is 6200 cm3.

To produce small-size products of volume 2540 cm3, the automatic injection molding machine is used.
