Yakovleva's research interests include radiation protection; radiation ecology and hygiene; geophysics; dosimetry; spectrometry; investigation of radon and radionuclides behavior in soils, water, dwellings; radiation risk analysis; estimate of dose from nature and man-made radiation, earthquake prediction using radon information. Lecturer at the courses "Dosimetry of Ionizing Radiation”, “Radiation Protection", “Technical Systems Reliability and Risk Management ”.
