In April of 2013 Aleksey V. Voitovich defended a Candidate’s dissertation –
“Law Enforcement in Tomsk Oblast within a Context of a Social History of
USSR (middle 50th – early 80th)” in a specialty of Russian History
under the guidance of Eduard Isaakovich Chernyak, Doctor of Historical Sciences,
Professor of Tomsk State University.
