Brief description of the Physics Discipline

The aim of the Physics Discipline is the learning of fundamental physical laws and concepts, theories, methods of classical and modern physics and is directed to solving the following tasks:

-formation of natural-scientific view of the world;
|
|
-development of skills for using the basic techniques and methods to solve scientific and technical problems;
|
|
-introduction to modern research equipment and measuring instruments;
|
|
-introduction to the history and development of physics, as well as to the main directions and trends in the development of modern physics;
|
|
-development of skills for research;
|
|
-formation of thinking, speaking and writing, development of the ability to summarize, analyze, acquire information, set goals and choose the ways of achieving.
