b>Academic courses: Practical hermeneutics It is usual to believe that if a person has been taught to read he learns to think on his own. This is a dangerous delusion. The ability to read and the ability to think are different things. The same as reading, thinking should be taught. Is there such a science? Is it possible to learn thinking? What does it mean: to think? – author’s course of Doctor of Historical Sciences V.I.Turnayev tells about these and other issues. Being a new field of knowledge, course of practical hermeneutics includes theoretical (8-10 hours) and practical (12-24 hours) parts and is designed for students aimed at being involved in a research work upon graduating from a tertiary institution. Practical classes are conducted for groups of not more than 20 people. Students are provided with an aid written by the author of the course.
