Main objective of a course is formation of knowledge on the principles of energy transformation in power stations and the processes in elements of the power plants equipment; acquisition of abilities in the analysis of schematic diagrams of the main types of power stations and calculation of their basic power indicators; acquisition of skills in the analysis of safe and economic operation of the t of power plant equipment; possession of skills in the design of power plant thermal schemes.
