I am currently teaching the following courses: Lithology; Geology, hydrocarbon fields prospecting and exploration.

Basic sections: fundamentals of lithigenesis, petrography of sedimentary rocks, basics of facies analysis, formation conditions of sedimentary thicknesses and lithology of natural reservoirs.
Theoretical issues of rock-formation; classification, composition and genesis of sedimentary rocks; genetic facies features of different types; methods of paleongeographic reconstructions; concepts of sedimentary formations; formation criteria of natural reservoirs and hydrocarbon traps, reservoir formations and impermeable rock layers.

Basic sections:
The students should do the following:
- know the sedimentary rocks formation relationships and their transformation in time and space;
- get an idea of the geologic background for oil-and gas - bearing capacity, overall relationships in oil\ gas formation and deposits location, physical processes that occur;
- get knowledge of the geological, geophysical, geochemical and field research methods; learn the exploration survey stages, general nomenclature of oil and gas reserves.
