This course implies implementing the tasks as follows: - Indoctrinating with a phenomenon of friction occurring between two solids brought in sliding contact with the use of modern conceptions of mechanics
- Obtaining necessary information on tribotechnical materials both used for making the components and those used for lubrication as well as advanced processes for depositing wear-resistant, anti-friction and friction coatings, or subsurface modification
- Studying basic methods used for determining forces, momenta, and friction coefficints as well as wear rates in different tribotechnical test schemes
- Indoctrinating with basic tribotechnical test schemes and methods used for modeling the tribotechnical processes
