Published more than 180 scientific articles and 10 books – e.g. “Introduction to Information Theory” (1963), “Nonparametric Statistics” (1976), “Introduction to System Analysis” (1989), “Applied Systems Analysis: Science and Art of Problem Solving”(2004), “Applied Systems Analysis” (2010), “Modeling and Phenomenon of Man” (2012).

Presented papers to several International Symposia on Information Theory, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Processing (Italy – 1967, Holland 1970, Bulgaria – 1988, Austria – 1988,1989, Finland – 1988, France – 1990, many times in USSR – 1965-1990, in USA – 2010).

Supervised works of 35 postgraduates who become Ph.D’s and 8 of them later – D.Sc’s.

In 1970-1980 member of Inf. Th. Section of Sci. Board on Cybernetics of Academy of Sciences of USSR. In 1974-75 was a member of Working Group on Soviet-American cooperation in Information Theory of Academy of Scis. of USSR. Since 1974 – Chairman of All-Union (later All-Russian) Workshops on Nonparametric and Robust Statistical Methods in Cybernetics (up to now 14 meetings have been held in various parts of Siberia).

Translator of four books by R.L.Ackoff into Russian.

Editor-in-Chief of the journal of science and practice “Problems of Governance” issued by TSU since 2008.
