Sukhikh Leonid Grigorievich was born on August 19, 1984 in Tomsk. In 2001 he graduated from the gymnasium No. 24 in Tomsk and entered Tomsk Polytechnic University, Faculty of Physics and Technology.

In 2007 he graduated from Department of Applied Physics, Tomsk Polytechnic University as engineer-physicist in Physics of the Atomic Nucleus and Particles. In 2009 he defended his thesis for the degree of candidate of physical and mathematical sciences, specializing in "Physics of charged particle beams and accelerator technology".

Since 2005, he worked at the Tomsk Polytechnic University as a technician, engineer, assistant professor, researcher, research engineer (postdoc). Since 2016 he has been working as an associate professor of Applied Physics Department of Institute of Physics and technology at Tomsk Polytechnic University.

He is married and has a son.
