In 2004 Sergei Stuchebrov graduated from the Faculty of Physics and Technology with a degree in nuclear physics. He studied at the graduate school of Tomsk Polytechnic University. In 2014 he defended his thesis at the Tomsk Polytechnic University on "Tomographic imaging X-ray images with submillimeter spatial resolution on the basis of pulsed sources". He works in the TPU at the Department of Applied Physics of the Institute of Physics and Technology since 2011.

He has been working at the Tomsk Polytechnic University, department of Applied Physics of the Institute of Physics and Technology since 2011.
Since 2015 he is a senior researcher of Russian-Chinese Laboratory of Radiation Control and Inspection of Institute of Non-Destructive Testing at the Tomsk Polytechnic University.
At the moment he holds the position of senior researcher of the Department of Applied Physics of the Institute of Physics and Technology.
