Dr Mikhail E. Semenov, mathematics, graduated from Department of Applied Mathematics and Cybernetics, Tomsk State University in 2000. He worked for Tomsk State University of Architecture and Building 2006-2011. Since 2010, I became the associate professor Department of Higher Mathematics and Mathematical Physics, Institute of Physics and Technology, National Research Tomsk Polytechnic University. Now I have published more than 100 papers and 2 monographs. In recent year I focused on the mathematical modeling of plastic deformation by slip in face-centered cubic materials and got some important success. My research interests include applied mathematics, scientific computing and numerical methods, materials sciences and engineering.
