Dr. Marina A. Samborskaya is an Associate Professor within Fuel Technology and Chemical Cybernetics Department
at Institute of Natural Resources of Tomsk Polytechnic University. In 1983, she graduated from Tomsk Polytechnic Institute with engineering degree in Chemical Engineering and Chemical Cybernetics.
After short period of work as a software engineer at “OOO Togliatti Azot” she received post-graduate training
and was awarded PhD with thesis “Mathematical Simulation of Gasoline Fractions Processing” at Tomsk Polytechnic Institute in 1989.
This was followed by a Senior Researcher position and, since 1995, an Associate Professor position at Tomsk Polytechnic University.
Following teaching and research activity at Tomsk Polytechnic University
she worked as the Head of Department of Science and Technology at “OOO Noosfera” – a part of a big holding “Kemoil”.
