Area of scientific interests: biological mineralogy (biomineralogy)

Objects of research: the pathogenic organnic-mineral units (OMU) which are formed in an urinary system of the human body and being the reason of very widespread disease – an urolithic illness.

The knowledge of mineral composition and structural features of uric stones is necessary for urologists for appointment to the patient of evidence-based medical and preventive actions.

The main results reflecting scientific activities for studying of mineral structure and structure of uric stones published in articles, theses of reports, monographs, dissertation works, and also in reports and messages at conferences and seminars (mineralogical and urological) are included. More than 85 articles in magazines of the list of VAK and collections of conferences, 3 monographs, 10 manuals have been published. In 2014 the doctoral dissertation on geological and mineralogical sciences on a subject: "Mineral structure, morphology and structure of urolit (on the example of residents of the Tomsk region)" have been defended.
