This tutorial deals with the analysis and calculation of electromagnetic transients in electrical systems:
  • parameters of power grid elements and their equivalent circuit ;
  • methods for calculating short-circuit modes and longitudinal asymmetry ;
  • technical measures for limiting short-circuit currents .
