The discipline "Metrology, standardization and certification" belongs to a professional cycle of disciplines of training of students on electrical power and electro technical profiles. Training of students in this discipline takes place during one semester.

To discipline "Metrology, standardization and certification" precedes development of disciplines (Prerequisites):

• Mathematics;

• Physics;

• Informatics.

Contents of sections of discipline "Metrology, standardization and Certification" it is approved with content of the discipline studied in parallel (Korequisites), - Theoretical bases of electrical equipment.

      For 2015-2016 year 108 hours are provided (the 48 contact hours and independent work is 60 hours), including lectures (24 hours), practice (8 hours) and laboratory work (16 hours).

 As a result of development of discipline at trained are created

knowledge of theoretical bases of measurements and the theory of errors, knowledge about measuring instruments, their metrological characteristics, choice technique of technical means of measurements, knowledge of functions, methods of standardization and certification, the specifications and technical documentation in the considered areas, about forms of confirmation of conformity.
