Born May 23, 1964 in Tomsk. In 1981 he graduated from school №32 in Tomsk and entered the Tomsk Polytechnic Institute in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. In 1986 he graduated from TPU, with the qualification of metallurgical engineer in the specialty "Powder metallurgy and sprayed coatings." Since 1984, he worked as a laboratory assistant at the Department of TPU "Powder metallurgy and sprayed coatings." Since 1986 he has been working at the Department "Materials Science and Technology of metals", first as an engineer, and since 1987 in teaching. He is working on the creation of high-alloy tool. Exploring features of formation of it's structure and properties. In recent years, he has been studying the creation of bronzes with new mechanical properties. Reading courses "Materials", "Processes of engineering industries", "art casting technology", "coating material." His hobbies - accurate casting, water sports.
