Aleksey Alekseevich Orlov was born 21.11.1962. In 1980 he graduated from high school number '38 Tomsk. In 1986 he graduated from the Faculty of Physics and Technology, Tomsk Polytechnic Institute (FTF TPI) "Technical Physics". He started his career in 1986 as an engineer of the department number 23, Tomsk Polytechnical Institute. In 1990 he defended his Ph.D. dissertation. In 1991 he was awarded the degree of Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences. In 1999 he defended his doctoral dissertation. In 2000 he was awarded the degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences. Since 2004 he is a member of the International Academy of Ecology, Man and Nature (MANEB, St. Petersburg) in environmental engineering section.
Orlov A.A. began teaching job as an assistant to the department TPU Technical Physics in 1993, and then since December 1993 he worked as a senior lecturer, since 1994 - Associate Professor. He was awarded the rank of associate professor of "Physics of kinetic phenomena" in 1997. By the end of 2000 named the best assistant professor of TPU. Since 2001 he works as a professor. He was awarded the title of professor in the department of "Technical Physics" in March 2005.
