Born in Tomsk in 1981. She entered the Chemistry Department of Tomsk State University in 1998. Following training in the analytical chemistry and a period as a master degree student she was engaged in research in numerical
mathematical methods in analytical chemistry (chemometric). She graduated with MSc (Hons) in Chemistry from Tomsk State University in 2004.
She worked as an engineer in Micran during the period of 2007-2009.
During this period she was engaged in research of surface composition of semiconducting materials by contact voltammetry.
Natalya was awarded a PhD for development of stepwise mathematical resolution method for stripping voltammetry and X-ray diffraction in 2010. She is the currently an associate professor at the Department of Ecology and Human Safety and co-author of over 10 refereed journal publications and several textbooks.
