Julia V. Nikanorova is an Assistant Professor in the Department of foreign languages at Tomsk Polytechnic University (TPU) teaching courses on the German language, Translation, technical communication and lecturing on the German Language Stylistics.
She received her Specialist degree from Tomsk State University (TSU) and the degree of “Kandidat Nauk” in Philology from the same university. Her research interests are focused on Comparative Literature, Comparativistics, Imagology, Translation, and contemporary German.
At the same time since her study at the university she has always been interested in Russian Literature (N.V., in particular). She has written several articles on the Gogol's creation, published in domestic journals and presented on congresses and meetings.
Her dissertation was aimed at the description of the reception of Gogol's Poem “Dead Souls” in Germany.
