The research area of Natalia V. Chukhareva is focused on the following issues: 1) Investigation of peat modification impact on humic acids composition and properties alteration; 2) Study of peat-based oil sorbents and oil spill response technologies; 3) Safe operating procedures in oil and gas industry. She also served as a supervisor if the following scientific projects: Past supervision 2009 – «Technical expertise on tank damage» (on commission from building company «Redan», commercial contrast № 2-40/09у); 2009 – «Technical expertise on identifying possible accidents in oil and gas field «Matyushkinskoye» (on commission from «Matyushkinskaya vertikal’», commercial contrast №2-42/09у); 2014 – «Development of peat-based sorbent preparation procedure, Tomsk peat» (Research projects of ВР Exploratoin Operating company Limitet); Current supervision 2015 – «Development of the procedure and design of mobile complex for sludge utilization in production, transportation, storage and processing units» (Research projects of ВР Exploratoin Operating company Limitet).
