Objectives. Discipline is aimed at training students in the theory of system analysis and mathematical modeling of complex systems.

Tasks. The study of the influence of control actions on the functioning of the systemю.The optimization of parameters in accordance with the specified criteria for the effectiveness of the system.

Content
• Fundamentals of system analysis.
• Fundamentals of numerical methods for solving problems on computers. Study of nonlinear models. Multidimensional optimization problems.
• Mathematical programming. Linear programming tasks.
• Graph theory. The shortest way in the graphs.
• Combinatorial methods for finding optimal solutions.
• Dynamic programming.
• Research and solution of multiparameter and multicriteria problems.

Result of mastering discipline
The student acquires knowledge and skills that ensure the achievement of the following results: the ability to develop and explore mathematical models for the design of optimal technological processes in accordance with the goals and objectives.
