In 1995 Elena K. Prokhorets graduated from Tomsk State Pedagogical Institute, Faculty of Foreign Languages, with a specialty “German and English Languages” and qualification “Teacher of Secondary School”. In 2002 she received an academic degree of a Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences. Elena K. Prokhorets was awarded a scientific degree of Assistant Professor in 2010. From 2003 till 2011 she was a Head of Department of German Language and a member of: • Academic Council of TPU • Council for Coordination of Academic and Scientific Work in Foreign Languages • Scientific and Research Council of the Institute of International Education and Language Communication (IIE&LC ). In 2013 she coordinated the work of departments of TPU in terms of development of basic working programmes of a unified module “Foreign Language for Business Communication” (German, English). Elena K. Prokhorets is an active member of the Academic Council of IIE&LC.
