He graduated from Tomsk Polytechnic Institute in 1983. Qualification "Mining engineer-geophysicist", specialty "Geophysical methods of prospecting and exploration of mineral deposits".

Ph.D. thesis: "Physico-geological conditions of localization of gold deposits (on the example of the Partisan ore region of the Yenisei Ridge)", 1996.

The working career:: 1988-1989. – SNIIGGiMS, Krasnoyarsk; Since 1989 - Tomsk Polytechnic University, Tomsk.
